How High Are You Shifting Your 4L60E Just wondering at what rpm you are shifting your 4L60E? I have a built 4L60E using one of Dana's(Pro Built) kits. Right now I'm shifting at 6400rpm but with my new motor I expect to be shifting in the 6800-7000rpm range. Just wondering if anyone else is shifting their 4L60E that high of an rpm?

"If you added the restrictor plug to the input drum that replaces the checkball capsule, it will be good to 7,800 rpm with any problems."
I don't recall what we did exactly. We used the kit provided by Dana of Pro Built and followed his recipe for the transmission build. I told him what I wanted out of the transmission and he provided the upgraded rebuild parts and the instructions.
