Built 4L60E questions
I am looking at a getting a built 4L60E for my car. It is shifting soft and i think its on its last leg. I know many will tell me to go with a 4l80E or a TH400. I want to stick with a built 4L60E because i already have a converter and its the cheapest option for me. Car made 420RWHP on motor and am planning on spraying 100-125 shot to it. Trans was built 3 years ago by a local shop and they did a good job but with my new setup it is dying quickly.
Looking for input from people that have Performabuilt, FLT and RPM transmissions. Also anyone that works for them feel free to share info. I visited each website and did a little research but instead of calling every company i thought i would try this avenue first!

Man just check these post like he said I run a PerformaBuilt T400 now. Before it I had a PerformaBuilt 4L60e lv2 for 3 years and around 300 passes most of them being nitrous passes WITH NO ISSUES. I love the 400 But the car sees little street time. I do miss my OD. LOL but the wheelstands make up for it.
If I was you I would just get a built 4L60E the T400s are not great for a DD and if this is your dd car you will want to the OD. Good luck.

Really any of the ones you listed are great. Anthony at Fast Track Performance has had a lot of luck with RPM, and then a lot of people on here have had great luck with Performabuilt and FLT. It's really just which ever one you decided.
