is a 4000 stall ok with nitrous i know yank recommends there 3600 for nitrous but what about there 4000. the reason i ask is bc whenever my car does work right, it seems to not really pull untill around 4100rpm. i have 228r cam and fsat92/92 and 3.73 gear so would that be to much?

 

My buddy ran a 4000VIG (more like a 4200) with a 150-200 shot (depending on pills of course) for almost 2 years with no problems.

It will either work good or you will blow through the converter.

 

thats what im scared of lol! i think it would help a great deal on motor but on nitrous thats going to be the big ?

 

im also looking into stepping up to a 4k stall and spraying 100-125 shot.

 

A few peeps I know run around 5k and spray the **** out of theirs...Ive also seen several 4k+ built for spray. These are through TH400&Th350s..might be different.

 

I spray 200-250 shot on my 4-4200 vig and love it!

A 4500 nitrous converter is a different story than a 4500 NA converter.

Yes, people do it on the 4l60e.

 

It all depends if the converter is specd for spray...just as lemons12 is saying!
