YPT selection 4000 - 4600?
I have a bolton car and I want to roll some mid 11s on a stock motor NA of course. I plan on acheiving that goal and then camming it to have a 10 sec street car. Which stall speed would you recommend. Also, what are the differnences and pros/cons of one speed over another. Thanks in advance.
Hope you like to launch HARD!!! If you have a semi-heavy car go with the 4400. Car is lighter? go with the 4200. (imo)
These TP's really like lighter cars. The lighter it is the better your 60' will be and the better your mid range will be.
If the car is heavy go with the 4400. Light? or you do not want to sound like your revving to the moon all the time? go a little smaller and choose the 4200.
Good luck

Would you guys recommend getting a prepped trans with the PT4200? Will the stock one hold up with it? If I need a trans, which would you recommend? Thanks.

..1.5's should be no problems with a good set of tires.
The converter will not care whether the trans is freshend up...nor should you be scared of using the verter with a stock trans.
Will the stock one hold up with it?
...Should not make a difference. Just follow good practices with your tranny. Always use a good cooler, change the fluid often and do not hor rod it while it is in OD. Do not manualy shift the trans.

Your asking me?!
YANK, bro, Yank... mine is still kicking after a whole LOT of runs and more than a few years. www.converter.ccTalk to Mike. He will do you up. Probably offer you a good deal if you order the verter and tranny at the same time. Good luck.

but not by choice.
