i have an automatic and always wanted a t56 so i bought an entire t56 conversion. figured i would give a stall a shot before i swapped... now im hooked and im planning on selling the t56 conversion if that tells you anything. a stall wakes up an auto so much its crazy. yesterday i cut a 1.60 60' on the stock 3.23 gear. no more dead spots between gear shifts. i didnt want to deal with clutch hydraulics and clutches which is why i never did install the t56. If i were you id stay auto unless your into road racing or love bangin gears.

based on your past posts(searched your profile since you don't describe car in sig-which you should do),it appears you have a 00 TA. I'm guessing/assuming you currently have 3.23s'.
Do the stall and then you might not want to do gears after that, but typically autos see a 3.73 mod.

i went with the circle d 4c(3600-3800) and i think its very DD friendly... i mean its definitely looser then stock but nothing huge. And when you floor it... hang on anything around 3600 should do you well.
