which yank 4 me or anything else
Well you really can't go wrong with the other companies, they all perform pretty damn good from what I read. I went with my converter because its supposed to be very streetable, if Vig or TCI had a similar verter I would probably still be sitting here trying to decide
To answer your question, NO I would not buy another yank, and if my current Yank breaks it will not go back to Mike for warranty work. It's just not worth the grief that he caused me on my original warranty. Looking back on the whole ordeal I would give up the added performance of the Yank (if there truly is any performance edge over other brands) to have the peace of mind knowing that if the converter breaks the warranty will be honored.

dam i think im just gonna do a whole tci setup they seem pritty good and ive seen no real complaints about them but there seems to be a large qty of people who hate yank due to their cust service....
wow very interesting,im also debating between pi,yank and tci....was almost for sure going with yank until i read this post,id get pissed to be treated this way and would endup going to someones office...tci seems to be a good bet,i used one of their trannys once in another car and it was great, who sells them??
just to add to this after posting this i got a few pm that really kinda turned me off from yank basically the way it looks to me is that yank is most expensive worst cust\warrenty service but offers a slight peformance edge over tci (so long as every things works perfictly)... for me spending 1-2 k of tranny stuff means i want good service and a undisputable warrenty to back it up kinda like matag for home appliances id bet almost no one can honestly say matag wouldnet warrent their stuff... so far ive had like 4+ people out of the mabye 10 or 15 whove read this post say simlar warrenty problems with yank this is like 30-40% if ya think about it while those same people had no problems with other comapnies ie. tci and pi so to me this speaks badly on yanks behalf...
