If you have a crossmember mounted torque am I think its pretty obvious that your shaft broke in the rear first and not at that broken ujoint. Because how else could there be enough energy distributed to your tailshaft to flex the tailhousing and tranny case to break them both. The shaft had to have been banging around just enough before that ujoint broke to stress them both to break.

I had my tailshaft break on the dyno with my stock trans,so I just ordered a RPM level 4.
Well on the dyno my drivshaft, T.arm and the tailshaft/input shaft broke on my new RPM transmission..
Thank God! the guys at RPM took care of me and fixed it and shipped it back asap at NO charge..
I put on a new BMR adjustable T.arm and PSTdriveshaft and never happened again
