Default tcc wont lock , will lock w/hpt scanner

Could I get some help with this one? My tcc wont lock at all. The engine is a 2000 camaro ls1 / 4l60e with the only modification is LS6 cam , valve springs , and compcams pushrods. There are no codes, and no missfires.
With the hptuners software it shows it is enabled and when I hit the brake the pcm disables it, so the brake switch is not the problem, but the pcm is not commanding any pwm to the converter solenoid. When I manually actuate it with the software, it locks up and works fine with no slip. This engine and trans has been installed in a very light (2875LB) vehicle. Below is a copy of everything modified from the stock calibation. All emissions stuff have been removed and all torque management disabled as well. Do you see anything wrong?

It is probably detecting misfires (but not enough to make a code come on). It is sensitive enough to detect misfires when switching from a stock converter to a smaller aftermarket stall, so check that.

Misfires almost certainly.

Scan TCC_Mode and if you see -3- when it's misbehaving,
that says "I wanna, but..." which definitely points to
misfire holdoff.

Double your non-32000+ values in the misfire tables if
you can't see anything uneven in the Misfire Current
Cylinder 1-8 PIDs that points to a localized problem.

I had this problem and max out your misfire tables. I think the value is 32767

If you max them all you will fix this problem, but receive no
warning if something goes bad (like if a plug wire comes semi-
off, you could tell which cylinder by a quick scan for misfires).

Doubling the values is all it took for me to eliminate unlocking,
but keep gross-misfire detection.

Misfire detection is a useful diagnostic tool if you can just
make it quit bugging.

Ok so I maxed out eng diagnostics , misfire, low med and high rpm. Also maxed out cylinder mode tabs as well and still no overdrive.
I did notice when comparing my tune with the stock 2000 camaro file, that in the speedo calibration section, I have diffent tire sizes from fact. specs (3" shorter) and 2.73:1 gears instead of 3.23:1, but when I show differences only the only number that is different is the gear ratio. Mile, rev - trans, and trans revolutions/mile are the same as stock bin file. Could this be my problem?
Also on a separate note, if I just wanted to change the VSS pulses going to the gauge cluster but not mess up shift points and trans operation, what in speedometer section should I adjust?
Thanks in advance!

Look at the stickies in the transmission section of HPTuners, it gives the formulas that will tell you the right values.

Thanks for the info ,I got the speedo correct, maxed out all the missfire tables, still no tcc lock up . Locked it with the hPtuners scanner, but my laptop battery sucks and it kicked off before I could scan it . Also the torque converter is stock as well. Anymore ideas?

Here is the tune.
No P1870 codes, no codes at all . Some emissions codes are disabled. I'm new at this Hptuners scanner. I have to try to find out how to scan the tcc in further detail to check the TCC modes.
The file I attached was taken from the pcm that came with the LS1 eng. and trans. I bought. Year 2000 camaro 5.7L . The changes are listed in above post.
Thanks.

I'd put more mph between the tcc apply and release speed.

Other than that I might guess a tcc pwm solenoid mechanical failure, it would put out a dtc if it was a tcc pwm solenoid electrical malfunction. And I'm guessing when you lock it up with the VCM controls you do it by hitting the on button under TCC Solenoid which bypasses the pwm solenoid.

I just checked my stock Camaro ls1 bin with all the other binfiles for a stock 2000 camaro I could find online and not one matched it perfectly . Im going to try to copy one online, add my mods to it and see if it works. Maybe something went wrong when uploading or saving it .

I would definitely add more difference in your apply/release speeds. 1mph is not enough imo.

Yes I will bump the mph for apply and release as well. FYI that is the way this calibration came from the factory. I will put 5-7mph spread in between them like all the other 2000 camaro bins I checked.
