1st gear shifting late part throttle

1st gear shifting late part throttle Thought it was just cold weather or something, but this past week my trans has started holding 1st gear at very light throttle to over 3k rpm...sometimes as high as 3500rpm. It then shifts firmer than normal.
Everything else is functioning normal, it goes into 3rd almost immediately after shifting to 2nd when it does this.
No codes.
Maf readings look normal.
Only other odd thing is the car smells very heavily of fuel even though Maf, ltft, and stuff seem normal.
