4l60e tailshaft housing?

I broke my tailshaft housing at the track yesterday when my u-joint decided to shear off of the rear. I have the torque arm relocated with the BMR tunnel mount. Will a 2wd truck housing work since I don't need the torque arm mounting location on the trans? I have one laying in the garage that I can use if it will work. Thanks

Since the torque arm mount is relocated the truck tail housing will work.

Thanks guys. I pulled the trans tonight and it broke the trans case too so I have to find a new case to put everything in.

I would check all your angles just in case they are off and caused the failure.

That really does suck but I've been there. I got a trans core from the chevy dealer for $75. Opened it up and it looked like a good trans, just had a checkball lodged in the plate. So I got a LOT of near new parts that I sold to help offset costs since I was upgrading so much anyway.
