Default how much quicker are you on a trans brake then foot brake?

Thinking about putting a t brake in my th 350 that is in my Nova. it has a 4200 stall right now but i have a 5200 that i will put back in. the 5200 is loose on the big end but only flashes to 4400 with my motor in my light car. thinking a trans brake will help, best60 ft so far is 1.48 with 4.11 gears and 31"
tires

you will be quiker with a TB due to your arms are closer to the brain less time for your signals to react to your arms than to your feet. alot of racers actually say to bring your shoulders up other than reales it with your fingers because the shoulders are closer than your hands. This also depends on trans mission and brake. th400 normally has a little more release time than a glide or a th350.

Depends on the car. Some cars will ET/60' the same (a lot of times blower cars with a lot of tq will do this), but most all cars will pick up ET/60'

We actually 60ft and ET the same using the footbrake and T-Brake. I will say that our reaction time is better off the T-Brake than the footbrake.

unless you already have line locks
a transbrake is a nice improvement over
foot braking it.

I have a line lock for burn out but it only helps me off the line by holding the breaks still while i pump them up good and stall the best i can. The harder i can stall it , the harder the car leaves. Drum brakes are not letting me get to high though before pushing through.
