Question POWER-GLIDE om a 4400lb 1000hp truck???

i am panning around 1000ish hp and my truck should weigh a good bit less than 4400lbs but i'm saying for 4400 for insurance..
i can get a REALLY good Glide brand new for a really good price.. but i don;t wanna waste money if it won't work..

so has anyone used a glide in a RCSB 2000 model?

kinda heavy for a glide but you do have the power for it. I would look more towards a good built th400.

For $850 it's probably not a very nice glide.

For 1000 hp and that weight it would need a nice 1.80 gear set, that alone is $850.

I would be worried that the Driveshaft would be to long Thomas. If you do go with the glide make sure its at leas 4inch in diameter.
