Monster Transmissions ?? I'm thinking about buy a 4L80E SS Mega Monster from monster transmissions. It rated at 1000hp and a 3 year warranty for $1,777 seems to be a good deal. I have talked to a few people over the last few years that have had their units apart, and they were not much better than B&M or Art Carrs units. Stay with "known reputations" on buying a 4L60E or 700R4 transmission.

I have been into a few of the monster/goodfellas/maddog/ whatever they call themselves this week trans and they are junk. basically stock rebuilds IMO stay away from them.

Yeah idk about the trannys themselves from monster. I and my friend have bought kits for our 4l60's from them. We were impressed with the parts we got in the kits but we had our own tranny guy put them together. Like everyone else said, probably be best to try one of the sponsors here.

I think this is the first remotely positive comment I've ever heard about Monster.Like the others have said a lot of documented problems with them, check out a search and you could read for days all the problems people have had with them. Steer clear my friend.
