Well, im bringing this back from the dead only say to say WOW! I think im gonna give Jeremy the NOD after i talk to him a couple more times, i really dont want to change all the **** out of my car to run the 80e.

 

Keep in mind these vettes probably weigh a lot less then your 3800# fbody. Cant speak for the GTO posted.

 

I talked to him about this, and for my power and goals, They are Very confident in the trans they are selecting for me. If it needs upgrading, we can always go further with it.

After everything ive read, seen with my owns, and talking to them, i feel very comfortable with my GTO being backed by one of their transmissions.

 

The Corvettes I posted aren't stripped lightweights. Each one of them was 3500+lb race weight. They are still running a/c and everything, even the red and blue C5 Z06s that run 9.0s.

 

Well with my new build this year im going to be pushing an 800 whp 3850 f-body on a tbrake down the quarter mile and hoping for 9s. Mine is at flt getting its yearly check up,so far so good. Should have it back with the updated tbrake from rossler this weekend.
