Help me pick a stall, 93 z28 - 383 stroker, 700R4
Yes it's another "what size stall?" thread
93 z28, 383 stroker, CC306 cam, stage 2 heads, all the possible supporting mods. Trans is a built street/strip 700R4, current stall is the stocker done up to 2600.
As far as the brand goes I've been hearing a lot of good things about RevMax lately... Money isn't THAT big of a deal, but I definitely want something a little more affordable than 700-800$. A RevMax with all the bells and whistles should be around 400-500$. Also looking at Edge for around $550.
So as far as the stall speed, what should I go with? Everyone says you can't go wrong with 3600. I don't daily drive this car at all, it's my fun car, so I don't mind having to give it a little peddle to get going. I just want to do this once and feel like I got the most out of it.
The car won't see much track time, I'll probably go every now and then just to see what she's got. It's my weekend cruiser & I beat on it. So I'm thinking a 3600, unless somebody wants to convince me a higher stall will be better for my setup and what I want out of the car.
I'll be on 17" DD C5's with 285/40/17's BFG KDWS out back, and plan on getting some stickies on the stock rims.
