05 GTO wont go into gear My buddies 05 goat won't go into gear even after pressing hard on brakes and squeezing the button on the shifted any idea what would cause this

Are you saying the shifter won't come out of park? Or you can get it in drive but the car isn't moving? If the shifter won't come out of park, you might have an issue with the shift lock release button or the brake interlock switch. Basically two parts to the system that won't allow the car to go into drive.
