Im awaiting my trans brake from jake, and stall from fti and i'll have my 80e back in also. So if you only lost that much then I'm not down near as much I'd hope as I thought I was. I made 640 and a dynojet so I'd guess i'm at at least 575

hopefully going to the track tomorrow or saturday and i will update. Best with the m6 is 7.58@93mph with a 1.81 60ft. I was surprised too at how much it didn't lose. It was done on a mustang dyno.

I took my 4l80 to the track last night for the first time since the swap from 6 speed. So far I'm not happy. Drives great on the street but 1.78 60 and losing .6 in et? You would think with a 4400 verter it would leave better. I guess I have more work to do.

Left at 6400 on the stick. Foot braked it to 2500 on the 2 step once. Footbraked it to 2000 the last 2. I'm going to try leaving off idle next week. Also it seems to be pulling a bunch Oh timing at the launch for some reason. MPH was down to 108

why are you using a two step on an A4 and your not turbo?? No need in it, also if its pulling timing on the launch A4s are known for that because it can be so violent on the launch, its false knock. You just need to desensitize the knock sensors and it will go away. Mine did the same thing, desensitize them till it stops. good to go. Also every converters different, but Ive always had the best 60ft just off idle preloading the suspension and letting it rip

I only tried the 2 step because it is still in the car. Ill Do that with the knock sensors and see what happens

I've been working on the tune for several weeks now. My car ran totally different after reflashing it to an auto and then swapping everything over

What causes the knock sensors to sense false detonation?

a bigger stall that hits hard. Even my Vig 3800 would see up to 6 degrees of false knock on the launch via EfiLive. It would start to zero out in 2nd and by 3rd it was gone, so I desensitized them until it was completely nothing on the launch all the way down the track.

You WILL want to use a 2 step with the transbrake. It allows the converter to hit harder on launch.

Jake, never heard of that or seen it with an auto setup, anyone ive ever seen with T Brake has always just had the T Brake, unless its a turbo build to leave in boost.
