brand trans fluid for yank stall

what is a good fluid to use in a fresh fully built 4l60e with a yank ss4000.

I read not to use synthetic ATF.

on my ST3500 Yank said NO synthetic ATF.
Dave said same on my SS 4000
is not dexron 6 synthetic?

Dex 6 is synthetic. I used Valvoline Dex 3, and dont have a single problem. I even asked Andy@ FLT, and he didnt have a brand preference, as long as it meets the Dex 3 standards.

I installed mine with fresh Mobile 1 syn over 6 years ago and I'm still running the 18 year old factory trans.

Jakes 4l80 here with a billet converter,, said use good ole dexron mercon ,, I went with valvoline. Was told not to use synthetic in a performance application,,,too slippery.
