great write up im fixing to do this M6 to 80 swap, that harness you bought is the only thing you need to make it work otherr than tuning, i take it the park neutral switch can just be bypassed by jumping the clutch switch?

You can turn it off in the tune.

Yep, it doesn't change the airflow and idle speed tables in the engine segment. Actually if you still have the manual engine segment, I found that it will change the RPM table of idle (from P/N to in gear) but doesn't change the airflow table.

The stock 80 didn't last long. 3rd started slipping. I went through it and have had some issues. I should have it back together in the next week and making power again. I want to get it to the track before the end of the year. I should have some numbers on the dyno too. I will update y'all when I do.

This trans has a hd2 in it, and a otherwise stock rebuild with good clutches.

Most builders run the high energy borg clutches. I am not sure about a kit. But something complete with steels and high energy clutches will get you there. Then either dual feed the directs, or a hd2 shift kit. I am getting rid of my vb with the hd2 seperator plate and vb mods. Pm me if interested.

Pro Built Automatics sells a fairly complete kit with Borg Warner frictions.

Hahaha bit of an understatement, I have never seen a direct drum do that before, but that was pretty much out of your hands, just bad luck. Your car accepts 4L80Es kicking and screaming all the way through the process

I am used to dealing with kicking and screaming, lol. . . Hopefully this is the last time I see the insides of this sucker for a while. I am ready to do some burnouts.

I look forward to it, lol. As long as all the blood is cleaned off it. Don't need any more bad juju. Had enough of it to last a while.
