yanks ss4000 vs tp4000

Default yanks ss4000 vs tp4000
I was lookin at my stall and turns out its a pt4000 not a ss40000. Now I did some research and found this 2 be a very good stall as well. From wat I've read this is a better roll stall and hits a little harder in digs. This is also a n/a stall vs the ss4000 being a n20 friendly stall. Anyone have any experience wit them?

I have the pt 4000 and love it. My car has a small cam, some lightly ported heads, a little weight reduction and its done a best of 1.51 60 foot. Everything still on the car even ac works I just put some race stars on it. And it does hit hard from a roll too. Its a real loose stall as well, I think you will like it.

I wanted the pt4000 but I was afraid of going that big for my first stall. I did my homework on that stall and its known for best of both world dig race and a monster from a roll. Dont get me wrong I love the ss3600 bigtime but Im wondering what the pt4000 would have been like.

Some guys do it with that stall but its not the stall to get for nitrous. Yank dosent recomend it thats for sure.

This is my first auto car so my 1st stall as well but put a big cam so don't wanna go any lower.

My dads car has a pt 4000 and he loves it. His car is set up with H/c all N/a and it runs great, defianetly would reccomend that stall as it is still streetable.

I wouldnt waste the time and money restalling it for just a 100 shot. Try it and see how it works.

I have sprayed a 175 on a pt4400. It blows through a little bit but so far I have decent results.

You want a big converter to work on a decent hit call and have them build you one. Otherwise its like adding a big cam with manifolds.

1.29 60ft with a ss4000... n/a 346 head cam stock bottom end...

both are good stalls...

The highest I would go on a shot is a 100. No more than that just while I save 2 get my 5.3 worked on.

The ss4000 has a higher STR at 2.6, so it hits harder outta the hole, however the PT is built to be more efficient and usually pulls harder and traps higher.
