tunimg after a tc install***** i asked the other day if anyone who had a tc installed had any problems with the converter unlocking while driving down the highway, my converter is unlocking while driving 70 after about 15 miles. my converter also does not gain enough speed thru each gear before the next gear change. i am shifting into 3 gear at 70 with 3.73 gears. someone on here said i may need a tune to fix the problem. cant find anyone in tulsa to tune my car. any suggestions?
Misfires are bugging, get the thresholds raised a little or all the way
to "fuggedaboudit". Upshift seems not that unreasonable, I think I go
2-3 at about 80 with 3.42s but of course you want tweaked for the
extra RPM vs MPH slip to get it to best.
Can't help you about Oklahoma. But I've seen people who live there
and do tuning, post. Check your local forum.
