Default 4.3L 4l60E question... will it work?

Hey guys i have come across an 07 4.3 van 4l60e... will it bolt to a 5.3?

It has the 12 oclock bolt hole, and 6 bolt tail housing.....

are they the same as the fbody trans (minus the torque arm mount)????

Thanks for any help guys!!!

it is hard to see the tag on the converter but if that is a TLCX Code, then it is a 300 mm converter and will work in your vehicle.

Case is the same, I can tell by looking at it. So yes it will bolt up physically. Electronics and/or input shaft could be different though.

i bolted this same transmission to my 6.0. But you will need a hughes or similar crank spacer with your flexplate. you will also have to elongate the converter bolt holes a little inward for them to fit.

But i just had to pull the trans because the input shaft broke due to too much power. but the trans was completely built. this time im putting in a hardened input shaft, it will be worth the money.

also i had to replace the electronic piece that goes over the shifter linkage shaft to fit my harness.
