a huge stalled A4 is really fun, but so is ripping through the gears of a six speed. Id see if you can find someone that has a really big stalled A4 before you make your purchase. Good luck

as mentioned... if you plan on drag racing the A4 is your best bet... if you want to autocross then an M6

A big stalled A4 is pretty fun to drive (alot more fun than people give it credit for... yea it's an Automatic... but nothing like a stock A4)

But if you want something to cruise around in, minimal drag racing, the M6 would prolly be more fun

Adding a larger stall to an A4 makes a night and day difference. I drove a friends Z28 that had a stall in it and I ordered mine the next day. A M6 is fun but a stalled A4 is better at the track. Plus you dont have to worry about shifting all the time while driving in traffic.

With an M6 you have to row the boat all the
time. That makes it more like work.

With an A4 you can kick *** while drinking
your coffee.

On my old '94 Formula I had a fully built A4 with shift kit, and Coan 3400 stall. It's fun on the street, and from what I've seen easier on the stock rear as well. If properly set up, full throttle downshifts can be downright spooky!!!! A little better than most people would think for highway racing!

i wouldnt suggest holding coffee with a big stall dunno bout your car but you'd have coffee all over yourself/car.

when the A4 hooks off the line, you got some mad torque and g's going on.

the M6 requires a rear end $2000+ to survive drag racing
a badass clutch, and such too.

Some might say the 4l60E is expensive too, but initially not having to buy a 8.8/12/9 bolt sure does have its advantages.

and the A4 is good for those who are tired of traffic rowing. Past 5 cars = manual, z28 = a4, and a relief. i just got tired of clutching/rowing.

My stock A4 was BORING. Now I have an SY3500 converter in it and it's a blast! I've driven the M6 and it's fun too but a PITA in traffic.

Thanks for all the answers!

What I can understand itīs different from person to person. Perhaps itīs more funny with the A4 on a camaro. Itīs maybe more like a musclecar then a sportscar such as supra or skyline...

I think I go for the A4...

Couldn't agree more. LOL

I drive to work every morning drinking my coffee. I have to turn onto the feeder road from a complete stop and then enter the entrance ramp to the highway about 1/8 mile away. Ahh... zero to 90+ driving with one hand drinking coffee without spilling a drop & then slowing down to merge into traffic... A4 makes this much easier...

With an A4 you can drink your coffee while reading your paper and talking on the phone. With a M6 you can do all of those at once.

Just in case anyone is wondering. I am kidding.

Now you're exaggerating a bit... 0-90mph while drinking coffee in A4 - no problem.

Same effort while talking on cell phone... - been there done that - car smells like coffee! LOL I haven't tried reading the newspaper at the same time though... Will report back...

the cupholder indeed works if you keep the gas pedal below 50% on the A4
