Default Need some input :) THANKS

Hey guys well i'am new to the LS1 World but not to muscle cars.

Now i have a 240sx S13 With a 99 LS1 with an 4L60, mods are LS6 Intake manifold, SLP throttle body and Exhaust, And Silvia 4.09 gears.

Im in the prosses of choosing a Stall but im a lil upset cant find a good setup for my rear and match it with my MODS.

I want something that i can launch the car and get a good 1.6 - 1.8 launch and still have the lock up for the highway trips this is going to be a DD so nothing crazy, and I'am going also to put a mild cam and LS6 heads and a tune but till then i want a lil more out of my auto tranny. LMK any input would be great thanks everyone.

So you took the driveline out of a 99 F-Body and dropped it in your 240? That would require the LS style 4L60, then one you mentioned above is for the LT style 4L60. We have several options for you...please fill out our "Ask Chris" form and we will get bcd to you....Link is in sig.

The link you provided is for a converter that fits an lt1. Ls1 has a longer pilot on the front of the converter. I would go with a quality converter, not a no name. I would suggest circle d. Look around on their website and do the converter spec form.

A good reputable company, not a no name like the one for the link. Circle d, fti, yank, etc. Make some phone calls.

no prob man. I would spec the converter for the cam and heads and everything else. It might not run its best on the current setup, but when you do all the mods it will run really good. This way you won't have to restall the converter when the time comes.

With your weight, I think something close to 4000 will be nice. But just get all your info and future plans together. Be glad to help....

Definitely want a lock up. All of our Pro Series Stage I 4L60 will have the billet front and billet lock up piston. So it will have lock up, it will act just like the OE will once it is locked. So it will have the same RPM as the OE will when locked and cruising.

The 278 can only go to ~3200, it is limited by diameter. Not sure what you mean by actual, are you referring to the footbreak? Maybe a phone call is in order to make sure we are on the same page....

713-895-8834, I will be in the office in the morning.
