Green car, far lane.
Congratulations to the guys over at Pro Tree Racing who took their LS based 94' Z28 out and hit it with a 200 shot fogger and then a 200 shot nozzle. Not too shabby for the first hit with that combination and the Neil Chance converter. I built their TH400 for this car last year some time and since then the car's been through a couple of changes. I also built the Powerglide for their turbocharged track test bed car as well.
I was asked to not post lap times as this car will be grudge raced for money, but I can say is that it is very, very deep in the 6 sec range on an 1/8 mile track ... or as my good friend Vince B would say... "In half a race!" LOL.... and that's through a full exhaust system with cutouts!
They posted their best ever 60' times all night and seeing the changes they've been making with the chassis all week I can tell you that after they sort it out it'll be a nasty fast street car!
Good job guys! And by the way, that's a cam only motor with good head gaskets and ARP bolts throughout.

LOL!!! I went back and read my comments!!!! There's no way they were hitting it with 600! MY bad...
In the video they are hitting it with both systems on a cam only motor.
I had just gotten off then phone with a different client right before I typed that, and didn't proof read it. Oopsie.

Thanks Chris....
You wouldn't believe the deal they got on the NCRC converter. Before they bought it used they came to me with the specs... I knew right away it was a very sexy bolt together piece and was told it had zero passes on it since it was built new. I guess the guy that bought it originally was building a nitrous car and decided to go with a forced induction deal instead.
They snagged it for pennies on the dollar! I told 'em that if they didn't buy it I would! LOL.... So far it's been a nice piece to work with.
The tranny isn't really anything special, just a manual valve body with some custom work in the rotating assembly and some good soft parts. When they blow the motors brains out we'll get serious when it all comes back out!

You wouldent believe the simplicity of the setup...a few key parts and some knowledge has got us a awesome combination thats been consistant and basically bulletproof. High 1.2 is where we hope to land, getting this boat going has been fun!
