Yes, every unit we build here is a one off custom. When you call us to order we will get a bunch of information from you and get it dialed in exactly for your application!!

Thought I would put a link to one of our last runs of the season on our shop car.I know its a Mustang, but hey at least it has a turbo and a REVMAX CONVERTER...... We went 5.30 @136 in the 1/8th with a 1.27 60' on a 10.5" drag radial. We are looking for 4.9X-5.00's this year (got some new converter magic we are working on, heeheee.......) We are also in the process of picking up a Turbo F Body to play with!! Hope to see you guys out at Mooresville Dragway in 2012!!!

To the OP. What is the vehicle weight? What are the exact power mods? What was the DA of the 115mph and 117mph runs? Was the 1.5xx 60' using nitrous off the line? If so, what's your best 60' without nitrous? Do you know what hp you're making to the wheels?

Thanks

I guess everybody else is getting wise to what I have known for a few years now. Running Revmax in all my stuff. I HATE over paying for parts. I don't know why everybody else requires loan papers to get a converter built???

Cheaper if you buy the cheaper made converter they offer. If you want a revmax converter that competes with "Y" than you will be paying about the same price.

It's not cheaper made!
Please get your facts straight.
It just does not have the billet.
Most of us that daily drive and never see the track dont need the billet.
Revmax offers this to us where the other one's don't.

sorry for the late response.

EXACT mods were
GM cam 239/251 .570 .570 106.5LSA STOCK yellow springs (selling the am BTW)
3inch catback
Pacesetter headers
Revmax 3600stall 2.0STR/ANTI-balloning plate
rear drag springs with bags
HP TUNE
Vararam intake

I have not put the car on the scales. but only weight reduction was the 15s in the rear and skinnies up front.

the D.A on the 117mph traps was in the 1100s. Just about a month ago before i pulled the nitrous kit off(going turbo) i got it tuned on 100% N.A timing. the car went a best of 118.98MPH cam only through a stock 4L65 and the Revmax converter.

the low 1.5 60ft was on bottle. keep in mind that a low 1.5 60ft on a PIG GTO is moving on stock parts and 28s in the rear with stock gearing, 3.46s.

I never dynoed it, but my guess on bottle would be in the 560-580whp with the 130.7mph traps.

best 60ft all motor on 28s (kills my stock 3.46gears) was 1.67.

Also guys, if you order a Revmax converter do post pics on this thread.

Thank you. Sounds like a very efficient converter to be pulling 117mph traps in a cam only GTO in that DA. I'm trapping about that much in 1300 DA in my fbody with a cam/799 headed lq4 and six speed. I just sold my 6 speed setup to swap to a 4l80e and am in the market for a converter. I'm not needing billet parts for my setup now (400whp, and maybe 150 hit down the road), so this kind of setup looks good. I can sit here and listen to the sponsors tell me how great their products are, but I'd rather see customer's pov. I've read some iffy things about revmaxx on other forums, but most of that was from people who didn't own their converter. So it's nice to see some actual customer responses.
