I just sold my 6 speed setup to swap to a 4l80e and am in the market for a converter. I'm not needing billet parts for my setup now (400whp, and maybe 150 hit down the road), so this kind of setup looks good. I can sit here and listen to the sponsors tell me how great their products are, but I'd rather see customer's pov. I've read some iffy things about revmaxx on other forums, but most of that was from people who didn't own their converter. So it's nice to see some actual customer responses.
Yeah I was in the same boat but I ordered mine and am installing it next week. I read some iffy things but people that never owned them or drove them but everyone that has loves them and you cant beat the price. I can tell you this, there customer service is great, box was professional with logo printed on it and even had their logo printed on their tape, and came with professional looking invoice and stickers like every other company so they seem good to me. Will post up next week after install. CANT WAIT!!!

I've got a 3200 in my DD and it is a very good working converter! We have bought 3 in less than a year and I'm about to buy at least one more very soon. We went 6.07 on 210 shot and 6.83 on motor both at 3280 lbs, and we onky paid 600.27 for the converter! We paid 1200 for a converter not 2 years ago from another company with the less options! Until I have issues with them I'm gonna stick with them PERIOD!

I'm not really sure to be honest. We only ran that converter one day because it wasn't loose enough. I think it would only foot brake about 2800rpms. We screwed up and changed cams after we ordered the converter. We just ordered another converter rather than getting it loosened up since I needed a converter for my vega anyway. The new one foot brakes about 4200rpms so we'll see... We were hoping for 6.60's on motor. Its a REAL street car with no cage so we don't really need it to be super fast on the gas. 5.80's maybe?

UPDATE.

Im still rockin and rollin with this revmax stall.
i have their cheapest converter on my new turbo setup, new setup is putting down about 680whp.

this converter was built by REVMAX for nitrous so it only has a anti ballooning plate and it has not missed a beat. im saving money now for a built tranny and a REVMAX stage 5 converter.
i have put about 30k HARD MILES ON THIS CONVERTER and it has yet to give up!!!

new setup

A4LS2goat that's good to hear. I am also looking at their stage 5 converter for my 4L80E and was wondering if anyone on here has had any experience with it. After reading this whole thread Revmax looks to have a very good converter. However, I haven't seen any reviews from people with HP in the 700+ range while using a blower or turbo.

Edit: Hey, I just watched your video with the turbo. Did you break the tires lose on the top end? The converter seems to be putting all your power on the ground.

Car went 10.75 @ 135mph on a little 4.8 L and a eBay gt45 turbo.
Spun a 1.80 60ft. 106.3mph in the 1/8th.
Race weight of 3950 lbs.

I'm gona guess about 680whp.

Also, this was with the converter unlocked.
I'm sure on a locked converter it'll probably pick up 1-2mph .

This thread has nothing to do with Yank. Why are you posting this on a thread about our products?

You know who makes a reliable 4l60E and has honest customer service? No, I'm serious, cause it's not you, so maybe you can lead me to a good company that does.
