Do I need to get the woven carbon fiber lockup clutch? Also, when is the next sale? Or maybe a military discount? Worth a shot. Im really looking forward to getting one of these.
Next sale would be sometime this summer.... The standard 700R4 stage 3 would work great for your application

Depends on the build.... It would be out of a V8 powered application...

No problem... The converter industry is one of the most misunderstood in the industry. Educating the public and hopefully future customers has always been a top priority to us! When someone is educated they can then make a decision based on their own knowledge rather than "something" that someone told them or that they read on the internet somewhere.

I got a 2600 stage 2 12" from you guys recently for a 4l65e in a GTO and the converter looks very similar to my old one. I was just afraid that I was getting one from a 4 cylinder core and would not stand up to even near stock V8 application.

For reference, I ran the stage 3 revmax converter on my turbo setup at 600whp and never gave me a problem. And their only rated to 500hp.

Yes, we make several different triple disc 4L80E's. If you want give us a call and we can spec out the right unit for your build!

Your New Stage 5 looks Beast! What was your bast pass on the Stage 3 converter? I am tossing around the idea of ditching my 6speed in my built 383 T/A for a Built auto with a revmax 4000 stall. I had a 3200 Stage 3 ravmax in my LT1 car but that Stage 5 looks like it could handle anything power wise. Please keep us posted about the difference between the stage 3 and stage 5. My car is making around 470 rwhp on motor and I am planning a nice N20 shot as well.

my best pass on the stage 3 was 10.75 @ 135mph.

the new converter feels tight compared to the stage 3 i had, but than again this converter was built for boost so its a good thing.

i will be getting tuned and dynoed soon. looking to make about 700whp.

here was my pass on the turbo setup on the stage 3, spinning.

Probably going to switch to a 4.10. Sucks because I just had these 3.27's installed, but not going to go boosted for a while.
