That's good for 850hp?! I'm half of that. What about the stage 3 nitrous good for 500hp?

If you get a stall for nitrous applications, will it work well without the nitrous?

I mean, if I get a nitrous stall and don't add spray for a while, will it perform just like a "non-nitrous" stall converter, or will it be "less than" performance-wise?

I've always wondered this.

It'll be fine. The nitrous stalls add a little to make them withstand the abuse the additional HP you get from nitrous. It may be a little tighter while n/a, but it definitely won't hurt anything.

Another question:

Can I install (onto a stock LT1) whatever converter that I would use for my head/cam swap BEFORE I actually do the heads and cam? I mean will this cause better performance, or would it suck on the stock engine?

In other words, would I have to get a lesser stall for my stock engine then have it re-stalled higher, after I do the heads and cam swappage?

Ordered my stage 4 billet nitrous converter a couple weeks ago. It was built, shipped, and in my hands in 7 days. Saturday and Sunday were two of those days. Frank and Tom are great to deal with. I'll post up again once my converter is installed and I have some feedback on functionality. I'm expecting great things.

I saw the Revmax converters on the web and honestly thought "Chinese knock off". It is good to hear that they are quality converters for a fair price. I need a converter for a 2004R behind a mild LS3 in my 72 Camaro. I will be looking up Revmax for a recommendation. Thanks
