converter slip vs clutch slip?
Had 4L60e rebuilt 1 year ago and it has felt like the car is slipping more and more the last few weeks.
Tonight on they way home, the car will shift up into all the gears slowly/inconsistently/sloppily (slipping the whole time)
The more throttle I give, the more it slips and just revs up freely.
Under light throttle, the car slips also and it takes a lot of work to get it to hit 50 as it slips and "shifts" through the gears.
Is this a converter issue or trans clutch issue? Or something else completely?
Thanks in advance

I think its a transmission issue. I'm no expert though just what I think. Mine just started doing this too, but mine is mostly on the 1-2 shift. Feels like it goes into neutral when it tries to shift to second(pretty much the same as you described). I just had a cam installed and I think my transmission can't handle it.

It is the transmission slipping. Have you checked the fluid condition? Be sure to check and make sure that it's full of fluid, that will cause slip issues.
But unfortunately if it has slipped any at all then there is significant damage to the soft parts. Meaning it needs to come out and be rebuilt. You guys are close enough to me that if you would get the cars to me I will diagnose them for no charge or expense to you. I do that for everybody.
Give me a shout if you think you want to come by.
