Default School me on 8" vs 10" converters

What's the difference between a 8" converter and a 10" converter.
I have always thought the smaller the converter the higher the stall.
Going to a TH-400, 5000ish stall, T-brake. Track only car.
Thanks

Anytime you are over 4500 stall and under 750hp a 8" will be faster. You can keep it tighter on the fin angle, thus making it more efficient than a loose 9.5"/10"
