Hi Lou,

I am sending this email to thank you for the transmission. There were no problem fitting it and I have tested the car and it is running great. At cruising the transmission shifts very smooth. When I engage it on 1st and full acceleration the shifting is nice and crisp through till 4th. Its doesn't shift harshly neither is it soft at full open throttle.

Thanks again and I appreciate your assistance and guidance.

Best regards,
Essa

My Mad Dog Transmission experience was typical.

Whole bunch of money, whole bunch of problems, and a new boat anchor.

A transbrake TH400 has no modulator, governor, detent, or shift valves.

It is one of the easiest units to build and get right because it is stupid simple hydraulically.

You said you have a dyno right?

It's not the prettiest piece of machinery but it is one of the most important in our shop.

Thanks for the picture Jake.
Does this allow you to put a full load on the trans, or only an accelerating load?

I now look forward to Maddog's dyno picture.

Golf&GM: I was trying to make a variation of the old joke "Wanted - Good woman with boat - send picture of boat and motor".
