Ok did search found a good thread read a lot aout them and am satisfied with what I read... I have a 4.8 liter with a 224 cam and 373 gears 4l60e trans in a 79 z28... What stall should I go with? Its just a street car... Dont want anything more than a 3300 to begin with..LOL

I drove mine almos 20,000 miles in a year on a stock lq4. 3600 is what I had. There cheepest one. It drove fine.
1900-22(2500) leaving stop lights. I'd get one atleast to 3600. It will still lock at 40 miles an hour.

Well to be honest cost is driving this..LOL

Not looking for a whole lot of performance, its a small Ls engine and wont be making more than 500 hp by any means.. The cam was to give it some character more than anything but I need a stall for the trans as I have nothing for it right now

Still go at least 3000 min. You won't regret it. I was skeptical when I went with a 3200 and I could have gone larger. I used to DD my car also in traffic.

I have a 2800 and am happy with it. It's a bit better than stock for my DD. By the way it will lock up where your Tuner sets it ti lock up. I had mine adjusted shortly after the tune to suit my needs.

Well just got off the phone with them.. its done..hahaha 3200 stall carbon fiber upgrade for max streetability..

I have a 4100 revmax. A little over kill but I beat the **** out of mine and its held.
