Dyno & Locking Up Converter
"only a suggestion" and the motor can make it slip
with anything over 1/4 throttle. That's well before
the converter unlock happens. Perhaps this is due
to abuse early in life (the B&M Trick Shift episode)
but I guess I'd be concerned about applying high
power against a clutch that is supposed to be, but
isn't very, locked up. Then you're shedding a bunch
of heat in the poor little bastard.
But I guess the only way to tell is to try it once,
and see if it's really holding. If it is slipping bad
though (and EFILivePro would serve both to lock it,
and to watch it) you might just give up on it
and take the unlocked hit. I don't know how durable
or effective your TCC clutch is but mine (TCI SF3000)
seems like a wimp.
