Default Restall a new stock converter or buy used performance converter?

Ok I want to get some opinions here. First off I have a 4.8 with a 76mm turbo and a built 4l60e. I'm trying to decide whether to buy a stock converter and have it restalled say 400-600 more rpms ($250 total) or buy a barely used performance 3600 stall converter ($285). The used one is a revmax with antibalooning plate, fully upgraded nonbillet, and only was used 2000 miles.

I'm going to mostly be daily driving it with occasional track runs. I understand driving a lot in the city could create a lot of heat with a high stall converter, but is this really that big of an issue with a stage 3 revmax converter?

Let me know what you think

Upgrade it and get a trans cooler. Restalling 400-600 more on a stock converter will help performance a bit, but a purpose built 3600 will definitely make a difference.

I already have two Trans coolers so im set on that. But another thing I'm kind of concerned about is has mileage. Wouldn't the 3600 stall absolutely kill it?

A restalled stock converter will not be enough for your application...

I'd contact the vendors and see what their recommendations are. If I could choose it would be something from Yank, PTC, or Circle D because those are the converters I've had experience with.

I have a yank 3600ss and If there is a decrease in mpg it's not big enough to notice with my car. I would say that highway miles compared to city are 50/50 for me.
