transmission starts in 2nd when put into drive HELP!! Every gear is fine. No slipping. Just did a new trans swap (95 4l60e) it seems like it doesn't wanna down shift. I can put it in first. Its fine but I have to manually shift it for it to change gears. I don't know. I took it to a shop and they said since the tranny is from a caprice cop car it could be the wrong stall.. something electrical or to switch cylinoids from my original trans to my new one. Any advice someone? I need help
