94 4l60e vavle body swap question. so I need to upgrade my valve and wiring in my 94 auto trans for the 24x conversion, I know I could go with a newer transmission all together, BUt I have a 4l60e trans from a 99 pick up truck that has burnt up gears thats pretty much a core, Now my question is would I be able to swap the valve body and wiring from that trans into my 94 trans?

Starting in '96 the 4L60E uses "PWM" for the TCC and 3-2 shift solenoids. Your '94 PCM does not support PWM and therefore would not work well with the '99 valve body.
The '99 PWM for the TCC can be disabled, but as I understand it, 94 to 96 was a very active change period. This just doesn't sound promising to me.
I'm not an expert on this, so wait for other opinions too...

I know my 94 pcm wont work on 96 and newer trans but this is for the ls1 pcm swap which will work on 96 and newer trans, i want to know of its possible swapping valve bodys and wiring
