05 C6 ls2 NA goes 1.32-60' 10.15 ET
Just wanted to share my results. Friday at MIR I ran my new personal best. I had two 60's that were identical 1.327. The car ended up going 6.41@105.09 in the 1/8 and 10.15@129.43. The car is an 05 base C6 convertible with a stock bottom end LS2 with heads/cam and bolt ons. I'm running 3.42 gears and a Yank SS4000 converter. The suspension on the car is bone stock except the front sway bar was removed to save the 9.3 pounds. I can't tell you how happy I am with the way the car launches. I was a little leery on running the ss4000 but I'm glad I did. The car drives nice on the street and tears it up hard at the track! I know a lot of the magic is in the converter so I'm telling you guys that are on the fence don't be scared of the 4000!
Here's a pic from Friday's session

Yea.. I think the DA was somewhere between -700 and -1000. Nobody had a weather station that day.
I'm running SDPC cnc ls3 heads and a custom grind comp cams 231/240 617/613 114+2.
I know it probably would have went 10.11 but the track went away fast. Who knows.. with an electric water pump and underdrive pulley it might go a 10.00

yea. Guys local to the track that on occasion do have a weather station said that Dragtimes is extremely generous for that location and that it most likely wasn't a whole lot better than -700. thats why I put a range in there. Either way I'm happy with my launches and times!
