good results from the ss4ooo I am looking to upgrade from the stock converter this spring. I'm having a hard time deciding between the ss4000 and PT4ooo. I here a lot of positives from both. decisions, decisions.

My race weight for the race was 3,447 with me 200 pounds. Since the race. I have tooking off the Front Bumper support./Back seat seat belts/T-top holders By the list on here that's like another 68-70 pounds off. So my race weight now should be 3377-3379 pounds.

In the next couple days/week I'm installing 373 gear taking my 273s out. I'm doing a 25% under drive pulley.

Whoa! That is an awesome time for those mods... My race weight would be about 3,680 so I will have to make more power to run those times. I just weighed it last week without me. 3,480 with a 1/3 tank; it has a stock iron block 6.0 though. I plan on running a similar setup with the 2.73's, but completly full weight. I bought this car to be a TRUE daily driver...lol. The car will see about 30,000 miles per year.

Thanks man. My car is a true Daily Driver I wouldn't be afraid to drive it across country. When I weight my car it had 1/2 tank of gas. Here is a list of weight reduction list I have.

1. Front sway bar/brackets-15 pounds.
2. Air pump an fitting/hoses-9 pounds
3. A/C delete-40 to 50 pounds
4. Fog lights/brackets-4 pounds
5. Skinnys/Wides- 60 to 65 pounds
6. Cats- 15 pounds
7. LT's/ORY- 30 pounds
8. Back seat an rear seat belts-33-34 pounds.(took out after I Ran)
9. T-tops Holders 2 pounds (Took out after I Ran)
10. Front Bumper supports 21 pounds (Took off after I Ran)
11. Windshield Wiper Motor/Resi- 11-12 pounds (Took Off After I Ran)

That's 67-69 pounds I took off my car since last time I race. I'm plaining on taking more weight off my car..

How long did it take to correct the shift points in the tune after the stall?

Also, how is the SS4000 as far as street driving manners vs. stock stall? Any complaints with the 2.73's/ss4000 combo?

Thanks man
I have a 19 month old daughter so I have to keep cats and ac and all that stuff lol.
I'm definitely ok with removing the AIR, and front sway bar. I'm thinking about getting my 10 spokes narrowed to 17x6....my street wheels will be by drag pack. I figure if I can run <12.20 in my baby hauler/daily driver, I'm happy.... Once I get another beater....byebye cats and hello heads/cam LOL.

Not long at all I like my SS4000 stall. You will have to get used to the SS4000/273s but I no complaints at all.

Congrats! That's a great time! Yank makes a great converter! I went from a 13.0 @ 108 to a 12.3 @ 111 with a SS3600 in my old 02 z28.

I remember when your car was pretty stock, it has def. come a long way!
