**4l80e question?? Help appreciated!!

I bought a 4l80e from a 98 1 ton van..will this tranny work on my 99 ta.??
Just curious if i boight the right year model...which year is best for a ls1 swap.?

It sure will work, I plan on installing a 93 4l80e on my Trans Am soon, is your car an automatic? or M6?

Yea its a4 gone thru two sets of 4l60e!!!! Thx just wondering cuz the tranny is of a van, wasnt sure if the bell bousing might of been diffrent..

We ran a yank on a turbo LS2... and it was amazing. I don't remember the part number, but it was a great driving converter for the street that still loosened up when you got on it.
