Default What is a reman torque converter

I just got my trans rebuilt! And my builder gave a me a reman torque converter ! Just wanna know whats a reman converter. It's from performance converter in texas

Reman is short for remanufactured. It's been rebuilt.

Do some research first. Figure out what the stall speed is, how many clutches are inside and if it is lock up capable. Call the builder to get the verter info and goolge to see what others are going for that are comparable.

This site is full of great info, but you have to be willing to do some leg work too.

i call and all he could tell me was that it had carbon style clutches and its for an on and off application.
