4l80e Linkage???
I'm wrapping up my 4l80e swap into 2002 camaro. My question is what do i use for the shifter linkage? can i use the stock cable that was with my 4l60e?
I tried bolting that up but the part that mounts to the tranny pan bolts to hold the cable didn't line up. I used one bolt to hold it, but the gear shifter doesn't hit the gear spacing correctly for reverse...
Do i just need a cable mount that is for a 4l80e tranny? where would i get this off a pickup or van that uses a 4l80e?

Elongate one of the holes on the 4L60 bracket so they line up. You will need to adjust the shifter cable so all the gears hit right.

I know it says TH400, but this is the one you need for it
using it on mine
depending on your pan, you may need to buy a couple of washers or spacers to set it down from the pan lip

I just installed a 4l80e in my 98 Camaro.
I purchased & installed a B&M Pro Stick 4 speed automatic shifter.
Kit includes a new H.D. Shift Cable
I also ordered the linkage adapter kit.
Very nice shifter ... I now have manual control of my shifts.
This shifter has the NHRA approved reverse lock out feature.
