Default Possibly the worst 4L60e carnage ever???

A friend of mine called me the other day and asked if he could park his truck by my shop, I asked him "sure, but why?". He says, "my tranny is shot, it wont take any gears". Well I didn't think much of it, He's a teenager and he's hard on stuff, So it came as no surprise to me. Well last night I decided to look underneath the truck Because he said it was leaking a lot of oil, And this is what I saw:

Well my buddy and my brother inlaw loaded it up last night and pulled the "transmission/carnage" out and here it is... DAMN!!!

Looks like the accumulator pistons and springs might be reusable - that's worth $4.

It's almost like a cut-away trans.

we used to do it on purpose back in the day with powerglides , they took it very well , we called it putting it in "Race" "R" for race lol

as for this trans if I were a trans repair guy after seeing those pics I would ask customers with broken trannys if they had an innie or an outtie
