Default 4L60E internal harness, lock-up solenoid different?

Hi,
I am putting back my valve body with the few parts I purchased. I have a new wiring harness and the lock-up solenoid has a different tip so when I install it the mounting tabs don't sit on the casing. There is a gap.
Anyone encountered that problem?
I can always replace the new solenoid with the old one but that defeats the purpose of having a new harness in my opinion.

Here's a pic that shows the differences

Overall lengths are the same, white one is the new one

Ok never mind, it went in but it was harder to push it in. I tightened the screws and gently pushed it in so it took some force compared to the older one.
I thought it was the wrong one because of the shape of the tip and I did not want to apply too much force so it wouldn't break
Thanks

New o-rings often need a bit more force to seat them; always good to lubricate them, is this case with a little ATF.

I did that before inserting the solenoid. I also cut the o-ring so I just put back the old one since I did not have access to other O-rings at the time.
Hopefully tonight or tomorrow I can finally take the car out and see if my problems are solved
