Default 460LE Help!

i have a 2002 Z28 Camaro with a Automatic Transmission. Last Saturday was the 1st time in week that i drove it. When i got home i parked it and left it there. 30 minutes later i was gonna take if for another drive and when i put it in Reverse it acted as if it was in Neutral and Neutral acted as if it was in D.

The Transmission has new Royal Purple oil and Kings Filter with about 62k miles.

Does anybody have any ideas of what it might be ?

Sounds like the shifting mechanism/cable has slipped by one position.
If true, be careful as as [Park] may no longer engage properly.

Well of course; no need to the throw the car away.

I am not familiar with Gen4 and how the shifter cable works. On my car/trans there is an adjustable bracket that shares bolts with the oil pan. So dropping the pan would have the possibility of misadjusting it.
