Where do I get a good rebuild kit for a 4L60E? Nothing too fancy just really want it to stop the hard shift into 2nd and such.

 

We never recommend that a newbie try to rebuild their own trans, especially not to "save money". It requires specialized tools, a lot of learning and research, and among those that try anyway, fewer than 50% of the rebuilds work the first time.
