Default What else do i need for stall install??

My car is currently going a head and cam swap so I bought a stall to match with my heads and cam, I would like to know if there's anything else I would need. In my build I'm trying to achieve a strip and street car, more strip then street so it has no ac and a lot of other things have been removed.

Car will have a 200 shot at the most, hci. 243 heads ported, ticks v2 polluter cam, fast 92/92, lt headers with dumps, 3:73 gears and more but that's the general idea of the car.

What iv bought so far has far has transmission parts wise is a yank SS 3600 stall, oversized trans pan.

Is there anything else I'd need to make it stronger and more reliable with out sending it in and having a fully built trans.

yeah 4L80 upgrade upgrade the flexplate and replace the starter with a truck starter. Avoid the broken block syndrome

Trans cooler, a big and good flowing one with a small fan attached will help alot. Also a good shift kit will do the trick

A good shift kit will require internal transmission mods.

You're going to be pushing a stock 4L60E with a shift kit pretty hard. A shift kit is not going to help you much at all as far as strength goes honestly, though a cooler will be a must.

TransGo HD2 kit, ...
But if you're planning on doing that much strip with it, ..., a simple kit won't protect you from a rebuild requirement later on, ..., Good Luck, ...
My guess is you'll be going back thru the transmission in a year from now.
A Level II or III, or2 or 3, depending on the brand name, or even better transmission, would be beneficial. But much more costly.

And if you're using it for that much track time, ..., You' better have a back-up daily driver!

Yes I have 3 other vehicles, this is not my daily driver, I have a gmc 1500, gsxr 600, and 2014 Toyota Camry. This car is really just a weekend warrior. I hope in a year to have a th 400 with a break and a ford 9 inch so if it last a year I'll be happy

If your going TH400 do it now...sent that converter back to exchange correct for TH400.
That stock 4L60 WILL NOT take your head/cam/200 even a few times IMHO

PZ...trust me on this one... I smoked my tranny in my old car with just bolt-ons and a 2800 converter (with cooler). Current car, I went over-kill tranny FIRST.
Set that good tranny aside. You can get a really nice TH400 for a lot less than a built 4L60/4L80. Yeah you have to get a different cross member, DS and tune, but it will be BA and worth it in the long run for you purposes. That H/C/200 is gonna make gobbs of torque.
