Default Need help with a swap!

Hello guys!

First post, did some searching so I'll put what I've found.

I purchased a LM7 (4.8/5.3 stamped on the block, dished pistons = 5.3) last week complete except for the transmission. This is going to be going into a 1993 Mazda RX-7 and I am slowly acquiring the parts.

I've got so far:

Swap kit for LS style blocks made by Samberg Racing.
5.3L LM7 out of an 02 Suburban 120k
PCM and all truck accessories.

What I know I need to at least get it to a point where the motor can start:

F-Body oil pan

I am working on a tight budget/want to prove something.

I am going to be dropping it in with the truck intake (for now won't clear the hood when finished) and use what I can from the truck accessories.

I'm stuck on the transmission options.

I know I can use a T56 (non LT1 unless I want to tear it apart) and a 4l60e.

there are a BUNCH of 4l60e years to choose from and I don't know what ones I can use that would be a bolt on!

All I know is I will need a 95+ due to pinout. My best bet looks like a 98-02 4l60e.

Here is what I've read so far:

Any help is appreciated!

For a 4L60E you need a '98-'08 4L60E/4L65E/4L70E, nearly all of which will have a 300mm input shaft which is indicated by a bolt hole in the 12 O'Clock position of the bell housing.
Note that C5 Corvettes have the LT-style 298mm input shaft transmission (and no bell housing) and you want to avoid those.
