Ok so here is my delima, I am currently having issues with my 4L60 trans. It is a 105,000 plus mile unit with a Yank SS 3500 convertor. It will not shift out of 1st gear. Im close to 500 rwhp on motor only looking to add N20.So here are my current options I need suggestions.
1. 4L60 Fully built with the Sonnex Smart Shell and the Sonnex 4L60 performance pack, Sonnex 4L60 line pressure booster kit, 300 mm billet input shaft, Sonnex 4L60 Smart Tech input housing, Sonnex 4L60 Super hold servos, with Alto bands.
2. Flt built setup http://www.finishlinetrans.com/trans...meDuty4L80.htm
3. Built turbo 350 with a RVMB and a Pro Trans Brake already installed.
4.Built turbo 400 with.

Call FLT and talk to chuck. He will not try to over sale you, and will be honest on which unit would best fit your needs. A friend of mine has had their level 4 60E in his car that makes 525rwhp for 8 years without a lick of trouble.
I'm considering another FLT trans for my 07 Tahoe.

FLT is the way to go.
I was about ready to pull the trigger on a Level 4 (as that's all I needed per Chuck), but this Level 6 came available in the classifieds and was sent to Chuck for a refresh. He warrantied it like a new trans and it was just a couple hundred more than the new Level 4. Otherwise, that's what I'd have in my car right now. It's a good trans.

From: Muscle Shoals AL,
Well I actually decided to go with the FLT level 6. However I added a couple uf upgrades. I added everything minus the 300MM input shaft. I also added the upgraded 1-2 gear set. Everything seems to be good so far Ive only put about 150 mikes on it as to date. And by the way the guys @ FLT are top notch as well.
