Okay folks looking for some help here. I put in a rebuilt transmission in my z28 along with an FTI 3200 stall. Car originally threw the p0757 and wouldn't shift into 3rd or 4th. I replaced the solenoid and now I'm still having the same result but with no ses code. I got it to go into 3rd and 4th a few times but only like twice after trying it at least 10 times. Could this be a tuning issue? Or maybe actually mechanical. Really having trouble figuring this one out. Any help would be greatly appreciated

 

Need to hook up a scanner that displays live data, See if 3rd is commanded by the PCM or not?

Was this symptom present before the trans rebuild?

 

The last transmission I believe burned up the clutches so I lost 3rd and 4th so when it shifted out of second it felt like it went into neutral. Now it just stays in second and doesn't try to shift out. I'm not very familiar with the different types of scanners but could you direct me to one that shows live data?

 

I have had a GM Tech 2 forever. So I'm not up to speed on generic scan tools. I know HPTuners & EFI Live will though.

The trans did have 3rd & 4th before the 3-4 meltdown?

 

Sorry I can't help you either; I use the HPTuners scanner on my laptop.
